Grant W Laird Jr. originally hails from Pittsburgh, PA. Arlington, Texas became his new home in 1981. Past experience includes working at Texas Instruments and various charities and organizations before forming Crazy Technologies LLC.

Grant received awards from Deaf Celebration for Mark Branson "Volunteer of the Year" and Doug Burke award, Texas Star Award from Dallas Mayor Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities and Career of the Year Award from California-based disABILITIES Magazine in 1998-2000.

He and his wife of 18 years, Misty, have two wonderful daughters and currently reside in Garland, Texas.
